May Day Weekend at Chatsworth

2^nd– 6^th May

A big thank you to all the marshall’s for a lovely bank holiday weekend at Chatsworth House.

Thursday was legs down and a catch up with friends.

Friday was free and easy. We didn’t arrive until Friday evening.

Saturday was also a free and easy day so we decided to have a steady stroll throught the beautiful Chatsworth estate up to the house.  In the evening some members booked a meal at the Wheatsheaf pub but we decided to stay and have a barbeque.

Sunday we had a ride into Bakewell. In the evening was an American Supper in the new social tent, again it was an amazing spread with lots of choice. After the buffet was the flag and the winner of the competition. Well done to Wendy who won a bottle of wine. We had a backward raffle which was won by our two little campers Grace and Savanna. I don’t think anyone dare take the bags off them. Followed by two games of bingo which my mum and myself were lucky enough to win. Great evening cut short because of the cold weather.
