About Us

We are a small friendly club who welcomes anyone who wishes to rally with us, whether you have a caravan, motor home, trailer tent or tent. Our weekend rallies usually run from midday on a Thursday to Sunday afternoon, depending where the rally is and who is marshaling, you can arrive what day you wish. Holiday rallies are generally one or two weeks, sometimes longer. To attend our rallies you should be a member but If you have never rallied with us and would like to come on any of our rallies just contact the marshal and say you would like to join, any relevant information will be given to you then, and membership matters for new members can be completed on the field. Yearly Membership which runs  from January 1st until December 31st is currently at £15 for the year.

Rallies and marshals can be found on the “Rally Book” page of this website, alternatively contact any committee member, their contact numbers are also there under “Committee“.

Throughout the year on our rallies we aim to generate funds to donate to the clubs chosen charity which is selected at the AGM rally in April. Over previous years we have generated on average  £1000 to the nominated charity which in 2018 was the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance Appeal  based  at East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington.

Nomination’s for next years charity must be sent to the Club secretary no later than Saturday, February 29th, 2020,  8 weeks before the next AGM.

The persons submitting the nomination for a charity will become that charities ambassador within the club and will be responsible for collating all the relevant information about the charity, contacts, literature, etc and be the person that organises their charity fund raising at rallies along with the committee’s assistance.

The nominee will also have to draw up a statement as to why they feel as a club we should support their nominated charity and be presented at the AGM.

Any nominations received after the 8-week cut off will not be considered.

We are members of ACCEO which is the Association of Caravan and Camping Exempted Organisations.
