Donington Christmas Party

I would like to say a huge thank you to all the committee members for all the effort they put into the Christmas Party Rally, a fantastic weekend. We had eleven vans out and it was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves.

Saturday was a leisurely day for some but not the committee who spend the day decorating the room and preparing a brilliant buffet. Saturday evening, we settled into the hall where we all enjoyed the buffet, lots of choice and as always enough for seconds. After the food we had a raffle with lots of lovely prizes. Thank you to everyone who donated a prize and bought tickets. Then it was time to play a couple of party games, pass the parcel with a twist was our favourite.

When the flag was completed there was lots of time for socialising, listening to music provided by Gary and Brenton and of cause some dancing.

Well done to Karen and Keith who won a prize not only for the best decorated caravan but also completing the quiz.
